I used to have a keyring with an Aussie penny Slouch Hat. I wanted to have one again. I found ShoalwaterDesigns “Australian Diggers Slouch Hat One Penny with Half Penny Key Ring”. Wow! A bonus halfpenny on the keyring and at a very reasonable price.
My grandfather had served in WWI at Gallipoli and the Somme. So it was extra special that Tim actually made my keyring on ANZAC Day this year! Tim even found a couple of coins from the 1914-1918 period for me. The coins are in antique finish and the halfpenny is in fantastic original condition. The slouch hat has also come up brilliantly. The detail of the penny is still clearly visible and has a great gnarly look. What can I say … a small family momento has become so much more significant because Tim at ShoalwaterDesigns did the honours! Thanks Tim. Lest We Forget.
